At a workshop held in Cape Town on 6-8 April 2016 civil-society partners from Mozambique, South Africa and Zambia cooperated with the Institute for Poverty, Land and Agrarian Studies (PLAAS) to design a multi-country research-project to secure poor rural people’s rights to land and water and to ensure that women retain access and tenure.
